Alcos Global Corporation, an established Plastics Manufacturing company, has an immediate requirement for a QC Supervisor.

Quality Control Supervisor 
(National Capital Region) 

Responsibilities:

The Quality Control Supervisor is accountable to develop and administer Product Safety and Quality programs that result in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures, Food Safety, GMPs, and customer requirements as related to process and packaging of products produced.

Specific Duties :

1. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in inspecting incoming materials, work in progress items, and finished goods to ensure compliance to agreed food safety and quality standards. Formulates inspection procedures, highlights data points to be examined, establishes correct measuring devices to be used, and setting maximum and minimum tolerances.
2. Coordinates and distributes product data points and inspection procedures to engineering, production control, and inspection work stations.
3. Manage and continue implementation of the company’s Food Safety Management System.
4. Develops and implements programs and procedures to promote product quality   
5. Inspects molded components following first-run production and advises machine & mould technicians of the type of defects noted and the need for further adjustment.
6. Improves on the inspection procedure and feedback system to the machine & mould technicians until finished product meets high quality standards.
7. Coordinates with customer sales representatives to resolve complaints with clients.
8. Ensures good housekeeping and practice of safety standards in the production area
9. Perform other duties that may be assigned that are relevant to the job function.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s or College Degree in the field of Engineering 

( Chemical Engineering or any of its equivalent)

1.  2 years of relevant quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
2. Great attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multi task, ability to work in a team environment. Must have a keen eye for quality control
3. Required Skill(s): Computer Literate
4. High degree of problem solving skills a plus
5. Hard working and must be of good moral character
6. Willing to learn and be trained

Compensation:

• PHP16,000-PHP20,000/monthly
