Your role

AvePoint is a dynamic and innovative company seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Project Intern (FOR 2023 & 2024 GRADUATES) to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical support and project management through the 5-month AvePoint Technical Enrichment Program (ATEP). As an IT Project Intern, you will be an integral part of the team, working closely with the project management team. This program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of their operations, while also allowing you to contribute to their ongoing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Support and participate in the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, focusing on learning the core aspects of project management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of product support strategies.
• Assist in coordinating and managing project tasks and deliverables under the guidance of senior project managers.
• Utilizing your knowledge of our software to deliver effective resolutions and answers to customer issues and inquiries under supervision.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on possible improvements to products and processes.
• Offers insights and suggestions that contribute to the team’s objectives, under the mentorship of more experienced colleagues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project progression.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor and track project performance and report any issues to the project manager.
• Provide administrative support and other tasks as needed.

About you

You need to meet the qualifications below if you want to apply for this role:

• A recent graduate of a related IT field (IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Management, etc.)
• Strong interest in project management and technical support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
