About Bureau of Internal Revenue Philippines (BIR)

The BIR became a reestablished government bureau in 1947 through Executive Order No. 94. The bureau’s primary responsibilities involve the collection of taxes and enforcement of taxation laws.

Your responsibilities

  • Install, configure and maintain ICT hardware equipment and software application;
  • Provide hardware/software technical support and assistance to all end-users;
  • Manage, identify problems and perform maintenance to servers, network, desktop, printers, power supply and other network/computer equipment;
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, networks, security updates and antivirus;
  • Conduct inventory of all hardware/network/telecom equipment and software. Administer IT archives, software disks, manuals, documentation, backup tapes and IT consumable supplies within the Office;
  • Preparation of IT Equipment for the Business Continuity Program; and
  • Perform other functions that may be required.
