About the Bureau of Internal Revenue Philippines (BIR)

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is the primary agency in the Philippines responsible for the collection of internal revenue taxes, enforcing tax laws, and ensuring that taxpayers comply with their tax obligations. It is a vital agency critical to the country’s economic growth and development.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintains and updates the Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP) monitoring tool;
  • Develops RSP-related monitoring tools;
  • Assists in the maintenance of ICT equipment of the Division;
  • Monitor and diagnose malfunction of ICT equipment of the Division;
  • Drafts simple routine documents such as transmittal letters, special orders, certificates, vouchers, and other documents as may be required;
  • Assists in the receipt and dissemination of documents to proper persons or OBS;
  • Handles records management of the office/division/unit; tracks documents and office communications in the Data Tracking System and other similar means;
  • Acts as backup liaison officer of the unit/division; and
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned/required by supervisors.

Compensation & benefits

The total monthly pay for an Administrative Assistant - Computer Operator is Php 18,620. Qualified employees will receive government benefits which include:

Career progression
