IT Internship Program null

OSTS interns will be put in a live environment where they will have both lecture and hands-on learning. They will be exposed to actual business processes and will be expected to learn, support, and do the basics of these processes through the course of their stay with the company. 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support the OSTS staff in everyday activities:

• Ticket handling and fulfillment
• Basic troubleshoot of IT assets.
• Building, configuration and deployment of IT assets.
• Inventory and storage tracking.
• Other duties as required.

2. Improvement Project

The interns will be asked to do a project of their own choice with the intention of improving or enhancing a simple business function or process. This project will be done with the guidance of an OSTS member. The interns are expected to execute the project as a professional project manager should – with proper documentation, timelines, milestones, project completion criteria and final presentation and implementation.

Knowledge and skills required:

1. Computer literacy is a must. In addition, the candidate must be familiar with Microsoft 365 applications.
2. Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
4. Acts with urgency and responds well to issues.
5. Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
