Your role

Foodpanda Philippines is inviting applications for the Dmart intern position based in Taguig, Philippines.

The role will join the Category Management Team to oversee the development, growth, and daily operations of the non-food category portfolio at PandaMart.

Key responsibilities include:

• Category Development: Being the voice of the consumer, be on top of Industry & Market Knowledge & consumer understanding of what customers buy and why. Developing category assortment in alignment with consumer needs and PandaMart strategy
• Range development: Expanding categories basis selection requirement.
• Product Communication Strategy: Creating consumer centric catalogue that helps improve conversion.
• Category profitability & Growth: Planning & delivering on growth (Volume, Value) in alignment with Internal Category teams
• Working with the commercial teams to drive discovery, traffic & conversion
• Ensuring active participation in all relevant events across platforms
• Supporting the Category Managers and work closely with Business and Finance to manage portfolio pricing
• Inventory Management: Working closely with category & sourcing teams to ensure stock availability
• Quality: Owning the quality scores (Ratings, reviews & return). Working closely with dark stores to take regular feedback & improve scores
• Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor

About you

To qualify for the role, candidates must be/have:

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent
• Proficiency in using MS applications, and relevant reports as well as analytics tools will be an advantage
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Good analytical and research capabilities
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role
• Internship must be an academic requirement
