Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress and can maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
• Collaborate with the team and execute good UI / UX designs to make the user experience seamless and understand the target audience's mindset
• Can create effective user and process flow and design ideas to boost user communication and interaction.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Compiling and filing all relevant data and analysis related to the performance and improvement of the site
• Manage front-end and back-end website development
• Troubleshoot and resolve website problems
• Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's/College Degree in Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years work experience in a similar field is required
• Proficiency in WordPress plug-ins and themes is a plus
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development
• Can submit a strong portfolio to demonstrate design skills
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
