As an interviewer myself, I give chance to everyone. A person's skill or knowledge isn't define by a 15min interview. We have training and ramp period wherein a candidate can really showcase their true skills. People with less privileged backgrounds tend to be more hardworking and can persevere more to achieve their goals.
