Your role

A Test Analyst is responsible for testing system applications used by Life Operations before it is implemented in the production environment.  The position requires keen attention to detail and is the last line of quality control on new systems development/enhancement initiatives.

• Must be an active participant in the software development process.
• Collaborates with the development team during the design stage of the project.
• Read and analyze application requirements and design documents.
• Conceptualize the design process to address potential problems preemptively.
• Document test conditions/scripts and user stories by the application requirements and design documents.
• Gather test data in preparation for actual test execution.
• Run diagnostic tests by the test scripts.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and present findings to the development team.

About you

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Average competency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge in database applications (e.g. SQL) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence development team members and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Find new ways to achieve better results within the job.  Suggest ways to improve the process.  Open to new ideas and willing to undergo training.
• Should be open to working long hours, including weekends and holidays, especially during project implementations.
