Your role & responsibilities

A Fraud Alert Specialist is responsible for monitoring and detecting possible fraudulent transactions, performing fraud operations tasks, as well as delivering timely and accurate reports.

Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Review fraud alerts based on transaction patterns, customer behavior, and other important factors to determine if the alert is suspicious or not.
  • Performs transaction verification to customers as well as assists customers with fraud-related concerns, when necessary. Initiates card or account blocking when necessary.
  • Reports unusual and suspicious customer transactions and/or behavior for immediate resolution Investigates customer fraud-related disputes in an efficient and timely manner i.e. within the agreed time frame
  • Prepares the fraud investigation, regulatory, and other reports accurately and on time
  • Coordinates with legal and law enforcement if required
  • Perform all alert handling and fraud operations tasks within SLA accuracy and timeliness standards and take necessary actions to recover funds
  • Discusses fraud concerns and presents related reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Performs independent review and QA of alerts, and fraud tasks and prepares reports.
  • Executes other duties and tasks assigned to them whenever necessary
